Silly helmet

-- "It's NOT a stupid helmet. It DOES make me look awesome!"

Manhandled

Manhandled. The man is handled. Possibly fighting a giant or maybe monday morning ;-) . Mostly done with Sketchbook Pro 6.

Gardening girl

This is something I'm currently working on. I don't know why it became a gardening girl but I guess that its better to aim for something more finished anyway. The pattern on the straw hat was a bit painful to get started on, but ones I started it was kind of fun :-)

Motorcycles

I'm not really into motorcycles but they are challenging to draw with a tilted perspective and lots of exposed engine parts.

Karlskronaplan

Another sunny and warm day :-) I'm getting used to a little bit more people now. However it would be nice with a little more benches and the placement are not always perfect. Maybe I should buy a lightweight stool or something. Or maybe I should just get faster so that I would be able to do this in a couple of minutes.
This sketch became a lot more sketchy than I want. The perspective is a bit too soft for my taste. I need to keep closing shapes and keep directional lines in mind. Easier said than done.

Gröningen

It's actually quite pleasant to sit and draw ones I've found a spot with not to many people and managed to get started.

Another outdoor sketch

I can't really justify spending time indoor this beautiful day :-) This was done from Falsterboplan (Jesusparken).

Outdoor pencil drawing

I find it a bit hard to go outside and draw. It feels a bit like I'm always watched and judged. I know that it's a bit stupid to think that way and I'm trying to let go of those thoughts.

Ear

I was experimenting with some different ways of rendering form in Photoshop.
The one to the right was done by carefully adding a new layer, airbrushing/erasing light and shadow and then merging down. It's a very controlled method but it is sooooo boring.

I kind of like absurd vehicles but this won't really work. Reality sucks ;-)
I was planning to use this sketch for something bigger but I'll leave it as it is for now.

Felt like doing something a bit more painterly, under-water-ly-ish...

Here is another studie. Still a bit off but it was fun to do :-)

I did this value studie a while ago. It's from a photo of a sculpture by Bernini. It's still a bit wonky but I got bored :-P
